Welcome to Electric Easel Cartoon Illustration.
I can create memorable artwork that will do a great job of selling your products or services. Plus, you get an experienced graphic designer thrown in.
This is me, above with some of my friends.
If you are looking for original cartoon illustration and great ideas (but without the big design agency prices!) you have found the right place.
Character design, logo design and cartoons with 'attitude' is what I do best. Original characters with expression and emotion.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so as an artist I should just shut up and let the pictures do the talking!
Thank you for visiting my site.

Inanimate objects brought to life. Packaging design.
About the artist
Graham was born and grew up in a village in the Midlands of England. He inherited his talent for drawing from his father, and went on to do a graphic design degree at the then Lanchester School of Art (now part of Coventry University). That was seventeen years ago. He has been a graphic designer and web and e-learning designer ever since, but his passion is cartoon illustration.
Character design and cartoon logo design
Do you need inanimate objects brought to life? A devilish Golf Ball for instance? A beer keg or a snail with a 'human' personality?
Here are a few sketch sheets. I specialise in cartoon animals and sports like rugby and cartoon characters with expression and attitude. Cool, cute, mean, aggressive, dumb, sly, etc.
Style
Positive, bold and bright is my natural style. But style can be adjusted to suit the job. For example this picture of Beefcake the Barbarian and Floozy Scrumptious is still a cartoon but more comic book in style. Whereas these cartoons for Ocean Village are simple line art in a more contemporary, loose style.
Advertising
Some ideas can be very difficult to communicate in writing, or impossible to photograph, but they can be clearly expressed with a cartoon. Cartoon communication can make very effective advertising. I have many years of experience of working with script writers and campaign teams. Including top London ad agencies Jackie Cooper PR and Shandwick.
